Visit to Ajanta caves
Day 01 : Pune to Aurangabadh (240/kms)
Morning arrive at Pune airport/station and drive to Aurangabad. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day we will visit Ajanta and Ellora Caves, Aurangabad Cave. Return to the in the hotel for overnight stay.
Ellora Cave : This cave is situated about 30 km away from Aurangabad. The Kailash Temple of the Ellora caves is the main attraction among the tourists and work of art of the architect. The temple is one of the largest and great sculptures of the world. Ellora is also world famous for the largest single monolithic excavation in the world
Aurangabad Cave : Aurangabad caves are just a few kilometers away from the famous monument of Bibi Ka Maqbara. These caves are believed to be excavated between 2nd and 6th century AD. Aurangabad caves are carved out of the hillside and are a fine piece of architecture.Total number of caves is twelve; out of which cave number 3 and 7 are the most fascinating ones. Cave number 1 to 5 are in the western group and caves from 6 to 10 are in the eastern group.
Day 02 :Aurangabad (Sightseeing)
After breakfast we will visit , Quila-E-Ark and Sunehari Mahal. Bibi Ka Maqbara. Later drive to the hotel for overnight stay.
Bibi Ka Maqbara : Bibi Ka Maqbara is situated about 5 kms from the Aurangabad city, the burial place of Aurangzeb wife, Rabia-Durrani. Aurangzeb’s son built this monument in 1679 AD in memory of his mother Rabia-Durrani.The best time to visit is during the months of October to March, these are the best time to visit, as the weather is really pleasant during these months.
Quila-E-Ark : Build in 1692 on the order of Aurangeb, Quila-E-Ark palace is also known as the Killa Arak. The ruins of this palace are extended from Delhi to Mecca gate. The Jumma Masjid and Dabar hall are the only leftovers that are of interest to the tourists.
Sunehari Mahal : Sunheri Mahal derives its name from the gold paintings that were hung in the palace. This palace is an eminent historical site in Aurangabad. It was built by a Bandalkand leader who travelled along Aurangzeb to Southern India. The monument is made up of lime and stone and was positioned on towering pillars.
Day 03: Aurangabad to Pune (240/kms)
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive back to Pune. Tour end
